FIRST TIMER CAMPS

First Timer Camps sail M-F for 1 week of instruction.  Session eligibility is be a  first time sailor (no dinghy sailing experience) and age 7-8.  A session size of 4-6 campers will provide more individualized instruction, land based practice drills, and on-water activities to begin a new sailor's journey as a safe fun activity.  A deposit of $100 will be billed at  First Timer enrollment.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

There will be 3 Standard Camps sessions this year.  Two sessions sail 2 weeks (10 days) and 1 session sails 1 week (5 days).  Sessions meet M-F with weekends off.  Sessions accommodate beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills according to age and prior experience.  Skills and age groupings will be 8-15 campers per group to provide instruction, land practice drills, and on-water activities appropriate to the group.  A deposit of $200 is required and billed at enrollment.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ABOUT PERFORMANCE CAMPS
Performance Camp sessions sail M-F, take the weekend off, then sail M-F of a second week. These sessions are designed to develop more advanced boat handling and racing concepts in youth sailors.  Opti competitors (ages 8-14 with 2 years of experience) are welcome.  Double-handed C420 competitors (ages 13-17 with 2 years of experience) are welcome.    Opti Performance Camps are designed to prepare youth sailors for Green Fleet competitions if they desire to participate. 
Double-Handed Performance Camps are designed to introduce and develop dinghy racing skills in a crewed boat setting and cover scholastic sailing techniques plus spinnaker use for non-scholastic competitions.  A deposit of $200 is required and billed at enrollment for Performance Camps. 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The Junior Big Boat Program (JBBP) is an early evening activity meeting for a total of 8 sessions of 3 hours each. 

This Program  is designed to introduce keel boat sailing concepts and activities to ages 14 and older to prepare them to crew.  

The specific dates for JBBP in 2024 will be set according to participation but will be in 2 sessions starting early June and Mid-July
